I am Funny!

Man oh man, boy oh boy, woman oh woman, dear oh dear… I love, love, love to laugh. More than anything I believe, to laugh is to find magic in even the darkest parts of the world.

A good laugh connects and heals us, it resonates deep within.  A convulsion of the muscles that pulsates and reminds us that we are here now.

I love to make people laugh and sometimes that entails doing things that some people find crude or stupid.

I find this to be in bad taste.  If it makes someone convulse with joy, how is it stupid?

Could it be more accurate that the people that say I am stupid are simply at a loss, confused and bemused by how they came to find a joke about a fart funny?

I don’t know what it is about us as humans that when magic is so obviously happening to us we can’t see it.

I believe comedy or making others laugh is a form of Magic.  Creating such an effect on another person by your words and motion of your body.

There have been times where I have said the exact same thing as another person, to the same people and when I said it the person burst out in laughter when the other person said it, crickets.

That’s magic folks, it’s like casting a spell on a person mind.  Even they don’t understand why they are laughing it’s why you will hear, “You are so stupid,”  as milk shoots out of their nose.

Because it is not in their control to keep from laughing it has been taken from them.  The person has been put under a spell momentarily.

Anyway, I am writing this because it hit me last night that I am funny as hell and I know that it’s not because I have the best jokes or even good jokes but I possess some strange form of magic.
